Grape Sunshine
Ingredients
- 6 c Concord grape pulp
- 7 12 c sugar
- 1 box Sure-Jell
Directions
- Using real ripe grapes wash and remove stems
- Place in large kettle with enough water to cover bottom of pan only Kettle can be pretty full of grapes
- Cook over medium heat until skins pop open
- Run grapes skins and seeds through a sieve crushing grapes and skins as much as possible
- Stir in 1 box of Sure-Jell with pulp in kettle
- Bring to a full boil over high heat
- Add sugar at once bringing to a full boil again stir constantly
- Boil 1 minute then remove from heat
- Skim off foam Put hot mixture in jars or glasses and top with melted paraffin
