Grasshopper Cookies

Ingredients
- 2 egg whites
- 34 c sugar
- 12 tsp cream of tartar
- dash of salt
- 1 tsp creme de menthe
- 6 oz chocolate chips
- green food coloring
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375
- Combine first 4 ingredients and beat until stiff
- Fold in remaining ingredients
- Drop by teaspoonfuls on foil-covered cookie sheets
- Turn oven off and leave cookies in oven overnight
- Store in tins between wax paper
- May be frozen
