Gravy-Baked Pork Steaks

Ingredients

  • 4 pork steaks 12 inch thick
  • 10 12 oz can cream of mushroom soup
  • 23 c cream
  • 13 c water
  • salt and pepper
  • 14 c shortening

Directions

  1. Sprinkle steaks with salt and pepper
  2. Brown in shortening in large iron skillet drain
  3. Mix remaining ingredients
  4. Pour around chops
  5. Bake in 350 oven 45 minutes or until tender
  6. Stir gravy
  7. Makes 4 servings
