Great FlavorS Quick Crunch Candy

Ingredients

• 1 c sugar
• 1 c butter
• 4 Tbsp water
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 3 4 oz milk chocolate bars
• 34 c nuts finely chopped

Directions

1. Put first 4 ingredients in a saucepan
2. Stir gently over low heat until butter melts and sugar dissolves
3. Continue to cook until mixture is rather brown or a little tested in cold water is very brittle
4. Pour into a buttered oblong pan we use an 11 12 x 7 12 x 78-inch pan
5. While this is still hot after about 3 minutes place chocolate bars on top of mixture
6. Then sprinkle with nuts
7. When candy is cold break into pieces
