Green Beans With Meat Served Over Rice

Ingredients

  • 2 lb fresh green beans
  • 1 lb lamb shoulder or beef
  • 2 medium onions
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 18 tsp cinnamon
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 8 oz can tomato sauce or 3 medium-sized fresh tomatoes cut small

Directions

  1. Clean and cut beans in about 2-inch lengths and set aside Cut meat into 1-inch cubes and saute for 10 minutes
  2. Add onions garlic and seasonings saute for 5 minutes more
  3. Add water to cover meat and simmer until tender
  4. If water evaporates before meat is almost done add more water
