Green Pea Casserole
Ingredients
- 1 10 oz pkg frozen peas
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 2 celery ribs
- 12 c margarine
- 1 5 oz can water chestnuts sliced
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 14 c margarine
- 14 pkg herb dressing
- 1 12 Tbsp flour
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Preheat
- oven
- to
- 350
- Cookpeas per package directions unseasonedand
- drained
- Set aside
- Saute onion and celery in the 12 cup margarine
- Add drained chestnuts soup flourand peas
- Mixtogether
- well and cook slightly
- Add salt
- and pepper

- 14 cup margarine in skillet
- and add
- the
- herb
- dressing
- Set
- aside
- Pour all except the dressing into a medium casserole dish and bake at 350 for 25 minutes or until bubbly and hot
- Add dressing and brown slightly
