Green Snap Beans

Ingredients
- 2 lb fresh green beans
- 12 c bacon drippings
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- 1 Tbsp salt or to taste
Directions
- Clean and snap green beans
- Put bacon drippings in a large pot add the snap beans and about 2 cups water
- Cook at medium temperature
- Add water as needed
- Just before they are done add the salt and sugar
- Serve with fresh onions and cornbread Yield
- 6 servings
