Grilled Steak And Vegetable Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 12 lb beef flank steak fat trimmed and scored
  • 1 medium sweet onion cut into small wedges
  • 6 medium Italian plum tomatoes cut into wedges
  • 4 ears corn cooked and cut into 1 12-inch pieces
  • 1 medium green pepper sliced
  • fresh herb vinaigrette

Directions

  1. Grill steak over medium-hot coals to desired degree of doneness about 20 minutes for medium turning halfway through cooking time
  2. Slice steak diagonally across grain into scant 14-inch slices
  3. Combine sliced meat and vegetables in shallow serving bowl
  4. Pour dressing over and toss
  5. Serve immediately or refrigerate several hours
  6. Serve chilled
  7. Makes 6 servings
