Ground Beef 'N Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp. flour (all-purpose)
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 (15 oz.) can pizza sauce
  • 10 oz. can corn (frozen or canned)
  • 1 tube refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
  • 1 c. (4 oz.) Cheddar cheese, shredded

Directions

  1. In skillet, cook beef and onion until tender. Drain. Stir in flour, salt and pepper until blended. Add pizza sauce and corn. Simmer 5 minutes. Transfer to a greased 13 x 9 baking dish. Separate biscuits and arrange over beef mixture. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 20 minutes or until biscuits are golden and cheese is melted. Makes 6 servings.
