Guava Catsup

Ingredients

  • 5 onions medium size finely chopped
  • 14 c water
  • 3 qt guava pulp
  • 2 large garlic cloves finely chopped
  • 1 Tbsp salt
  • 6 c cane sugar
  • 5 small peppers finely chopped
  • 1 12 to 2 c vinegar
  • 4 tsp allspice ground
  • 3 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tsp ground cloves

Directions

  1. Cook the onions in the water until soft
  2. Combine all the ingredients and cook for 30 to 40 minutes
  3. Pour into hot sterilized jars and seal immediately
