Hamburger-Potato Casserole

Ingredients
- 1 lb hamburger
- 1 onion
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 2 to 3 Tbsp butter
- 3 to 4 medium potatoes
- 14 lb Velveeta cheese
- 13 c water
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Cook meat lightly in skillet put in casserole
- Chop onion and place on meat
- Peel and slice potatoes thinly cutting crosswise
- Place in casserole on top of the meat and onion
- Put slices of butter on top
- Add salt and pepper
- Add water to soup and heat in skillet with some of the grease
