Handy Casserole

Ingredients

• 1 c chopped onion
• 2 Tbsp margarine
• 1 green pepper cut in strips
• 1 12 lb lean ground beef
• 1 tsp salt
• 12 tsp pepper
• 1 tsp sugar
• 1 qt or 1 1 lb 12 oz can whole tomatoes
• 1 15 oz can tomato sauce
• 2 c water
• 1 8 oz pkg uncooked lasagna noodles
• 8 oz sliced Mozzarella cheese

Directions

1. Saute for 3 minutes the onion margarine and green pepper Brown beef breaking up the meat as it cooks
2. Add salt pepper and sugar
3. Stir in tomatoes tomato sauce and water
4. Bring to a boil
5. Reduce heat simmer 15 minutes
