Happy Surprise Cake
Ingredients
- 1 Betty Crocker yellow cake mix
- 1 8 oz pkg cream cheese at room temperature
- 1 large pkg instant vanilla pudding
- 1 large can crushed pineapple drained
- 1 medium Cool Whip
- 1 c chopped walnuts
Directions
- Bake cake as directed on package
- Cool
- Beat cream cheese until fluffy about 3 minutes
- Add pudding to cream cheese and add the amount of milk as directed on pudding
- Beat together will be lumpy
- Spread on cake
- Spread crushed pineapple on cream cheese mixture
- For best results cover and refrigerate overnight at this stage
- Spread Cool Whip on top of pineapple Top with chopped nuts
- Any type of fruit can be substituted ie bananas peaches cherries strawberries blueberries or boysenberries
