Hard Cinnamon Candy
Ingredients
- 4 c sugar
- 1 23 c light corn syrup
- 1 c water
- 1 tsp cinnamon oil flavoring
- powdered sugar
Directions
- Mix sugar corn syrup and water in a large saucepan and stir over medium heat until the sugar dissolves
- Boil without stirring until the temperature reaches 310 or until drops of mixture form brittle threads in cold water
- Remove from heat and allow to stand until all bubbles have simmered down
- Stir in flavoring and coloring
- Pour onto lightly greased cookie sheet When cool enough to touch break in pieces and coat with powdered sugar
- Store in airtight container
