Ingredients

  • 1 pkg yeast
  • 5 c self-rising flour
  • 1 tsp soda
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 2 c buttermilk
  • 1 c oil

Directions

  1. Dissolve yeast in 14 cup warm water
  2. Set aside
  3. Mix all other ingredients together and mix yeast mixture in
  4. Cook at 475
  5. Use the amount you need
  6. Dough will keep in the refrigerator for 2 weeks
  7. Good to use for fried pies also
