Harvest Sweet Potato Biscuits

Ingredients
- 1 egg slightly beaten
- 1 c mashed cooked sweet potatoes
- 14 to 12 c sugar
- 2 Tbsp margarine softened
- 2 c self-rising flour
- 3 Tbsp shortening
Directions
- Combine egg sweet potatoes sugar shortening and margarine in a bowl mix well
- Stir in enough flour to make a soft dough Knead lightly several times on floured surface
- Roll to 14-inch thickness cut with 2-inch biscuit cutter
- Place on greased baking sheet
- Bake at 350 for 15 minutes
- Makes 17 biscuits
