Hash Brown CasseroleLow-Fat Version
Ingredients
- 1 pkg frozen hash brown potatoes
- 1 c sour cream alternative
- 12 c low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 small onion chopped
- 1 green pepper chopped
- 1 14 c skim milk
- 14 tsp salt
- 12 tsp pepper
- 3 Tbsp flour
- 12 tsp dry mustrrd
- 12 c reduced fat Cheddar cheese
- 12 c low-fat Mozzarella or Swiss cheese
- 1 c corn flakes crushed
Directions
- Saute onion slightly in Pam-sprayed pan
- Add flour mustard salt and pepper
- Gradually add milk and broth stirring constantly
- Cook until thickened
- Remove from heat and stir in sour cream
- Combine with potatoes and top with cheese and corn flakes if desired
- Bake in 13 x 9-inch Pam-sprayed pan at 350 for 35 minutes
