Hash Brown Quiche

Ingredients

  • 3 c frozen loose-pack shredded hash browns thawed
  • 13 c butter or margarine melted
  • 1 c diced fully cooked ham
  • 1 c 4 oz shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 14 c diced green pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 12 c milk
  • 12 tsp salt
  • 14 tsp pepper

Directions

  1. Prepare hash browns between paper towel to remove excess moisture
  2. Press into the bottom and up the sides of an ungreased 9-inch pie plate
  3. Drizzle with butter
  4. Bake at 425 for 25 minutes
  5. Combine the ham cheese and green pepper spoon over crust
  6. In a small bowl beat eggs milk salt and pepper
  7. Pour over all
  8. Reduce heat to 350 and bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean
  9. Allow to stand for 10 minutes before cutting
  10. Yields 6 servings
