Hawaiian Coconut Pie
Ingredients
- 12 c light corn syrup
- 12 c sugar
- 2 eggs well beaten
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 14 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 1 c Post 40 Bran Flakes
- 23 c coconut
- 14 c milk
Directions
- Bring syrup and sugar to a boil in a small saucepan
- Slowly pour over beaten eggs beating constantly to blend
- Add butter stir until melted
- Stir in salt vanilla lemon juice cereal coconut and milk
- Pour into unbaked pie shell
- Bake at 375 about 30 minutes or until top is set and lightly browned
- Serve warm or cooled with or without whipped topping
