Healthful Date Bread

Ingredients
- 1 8 oz pkg pitted dates snipped
- 1 c raisins
- 1 12 c boiling water
- 2 c whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 slightly beaten egg whites
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 12 c chopped almonds
Directions
- In a medium bowl combine dates and raisins
- Pour boiling water over mixture
- Set aside to cool slightly
- Stir together flour baking soda baking powder and salt
