Healthy Supper
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey or super lean ground beef
- 12 head cabbage shredded
- 3 to 4 large carrots sliced thin
- 1 tsp seasoned salt
- 1 c Minute rice uncooked
- 2 c hot water
- 2 tsp beef bouillon
- 12 c chopped onion preferably green onions
Directions
- Cook meat in large pot
- Add rice bouillon dissolved in hot water and seasoned salt and stir
- Add cabbage onions and carrots
- Cover and cook slowly until cabbage cooks down and carrots are tender
- Can be simmered for an hour and left unattended
- Serve with soy sauce if desired
- Serves 4 to 6
