Healthy Supper

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey or super lean ground beef
  • 12 head cabbage shredded
  • 3 to 4 large carrots sliced thin
  • 1 tsp seasoned salt
  • 1 c Minute rice uncooked
  • 2 c hot water
  • 2 tsp beef bouillon
  • 12 c chopped onion preferably green onions

Directions

  1. Cook meat in large pot
  2. Add rice bouillon dissolved in hot water and seasoned salt and stir
  3. Add cabbage onions and carrots
  4. Cover and cook slowly until cabbage cooks down and carrots are tender
  5. Can be simmered for an hour and left unattended
  6. Serve with soy sauce if desired
  7. Serves 4 to 6
