Hearty Bacon Potato Chowder
Ingredients
- 8 slices bacon cut into 1-inch pieces
- 2 c cubed 12-inch potatoes 6 medium
- 1 c chopped onions 2 medium
- 8 oz carton sour cream
- 1 14 c milk
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 can whole kernel corn drained
- 14 tsp pepper
- 14 tsp thyme
Directions
- Cook bacon in saucepan over medium heat until bacon is crisp Add potatoes and onions
- Continue cooking for 20 minutes stirring occasionally until potatoes are tender
- Add remaining ingredients and continue cooking until heated thoroughly 10 to 20 minutes
