Hearty Baked Macaroni
Ingredients
- 1 16 oz can tomato puree
- 1 c water
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 12 lb low-fat cottage cheese
- 12 tsp onion powder
- 1 8 oz pkg elbow macaroni uncooked
- 4 oz Mozzarella cheese
Directions
- In small bowl combine water tomato puree Italian seasoning and 12 of garlic powder
- In another bowl combine cottage cheese onion powder and rest of garlic powder
- Spray a 9 x 9 x 2-inch casserole dish with cooking spray
- Spread 13 of tomato mix in dish
- Layer 12 of macaroni all of cheese mixture and 13 of the tomato mix
- Add rest of macaroni and cover with tomato mix
- Cover and bake at 350 for an hour
- Uncover and top with Mozzarella cheese
- Bake uncovered until cheese melts
