Hearty Rice Pudding
Ingredients
- 2 12 c milk
- dash of salt
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 12 c raisins
- 1 12 c Minute rice uncooked
- 1 egg yolk or 2 egg whites
- 12 tsp nutmeg
- 14 c sugar
- 1 Tbsp margarine
- 2 tsp milk
Directions
- Boil milk add all ingredients except egg yolk and 2 teaspoons milk
- Stir frequently
- After 10 minutes beat egg yolk and milk Add to rice mixture stirring rapidly
- Cook for 10 to 15 minutes Serve warm or cold
