Heavenly Lemon Dessert

Ingredients

  • 1-12 cubes margarine
  • 1-12 c flour
  • 23 c chopped walnuts plus more for topping
  • 1 8-oz pkg cream cheese softened
  • 1 c powdered sugar
  • 1 10-12 oz container of Cool Whip
  • 2 3-oz pkgs instant lemon pudding
  • 3 c milk

Directions

  1. Mix flour and margarine like pie crust add nuts and press into bottom of a 9 x 13 inch pan
  2. Bake at 325 for 30 minutes cool
  3. Cream together the cream cheese and powdered sugar fold in 1 c Cool Whip then spread over crust
  4. Mix the pudding mix using only 3 c milk and beat until stiff spread over the cream cheese mixture
  5. Top with the remaining Cool Whip and sprinkle with chopped walnuts
  6. Chill well before serving
