HelenS Rum Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 box vanilla pudding instant
  • 1 yellow cake mix
  • 12 c rum
  • 12 c oil
  • 12 c water
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 c chopped pecans
  • 1 stick butter
  • 14 c sugar
  • 14 c rum optional

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 325
  2. Butter Bundt type cake pan
  3. Coat with pecans
  4. Beat pudding cake mix rum oil water and eggs together just until smooth
  5. Pour into pan and bake 1 hour
  6. Cool cake Poke holes in cake
  7. Heat butter sugar and rum until sugar is dissolved
  8. Dribble over cake
  9. Let set several hours or overnight
  10. Remove from pan
  11. Yumm
