HenrietteS Easy French Bread

Ingredients

• 2 12 c water
• 2 envelopes yeast
• 3 Tbsp butter
• 1 level Tbsp salt
• 6 Tbsp sugar
• 5 to 6 c flour

Directions

1. Put 1 cup warm water in a large bowl
2. Sprinkle in 2 packages of yeast and 2 tablespoons of sugar Let stand until yeast rises Put remaining 1 12 cups of water in small pot and then add 3 tablespoons of butter 1 level tablespoons salt and 4 tablespoons of sugar
3. Simmer until all ingredients are melted
4. Cool until lukewarm
