Hershey Pound Cake

Ingredients
- 6 (5 cent) plain Hershey candy bars or 6 (1.55 oz.) plain
- 2 sticks margarine
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- pinch of salt
- 1 (5 1/2 oz.) can Hershey’s syrup
- 2 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1/4 tsp. soda
- 2 1/2 c. flour
Directions
- Melt Hershey bars in oven with can of syrup; cool.
- Cream margarine and sugar.
- Add eggs, one at a time.
- Add melted bars and syrup.
- Then add flour, soda, salt and buttermilk, alternating dry ingredients and buttermilk.
- Add vanilla.
- Bake in a tube or loaf pan for 1 1/2 hours in a 325° oven.
