HersheyS Great American Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

• 2 14 c flour
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 12 tsp salt
• 1 c softened margarine 2 sticks
• 34 c sugar
• 34 c packed light brown sugar
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 2 eggs
• 2 c Hersheys milk chocolate chips 115 oz pkg
• 1 c chopped nuts optional

Directions

1. Heat oven to 375
2. Stir together flour baking soda and salt In large bowl beat margarine sugar brown sugar and vanilla until creamy
3. Add eggs beat well
4. Gradually add flour mixture beating well
5. Stir in milk chocolate chips and nuts
6. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet
7. Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until slightly browned
8. Cool slightly remove to wire rack
9. Cool completely
10. Makes 6 dozen cookies
