Hickory Stick

Ingredients

  • 5 lb ground beef
  • 5 tsp Morton Tender Quick salt
  • 2 12 tsp regular salt
  • 1 tsp liquid smoke
  • 12 tsp red pepper
  • 2 12 tsp garlic salt
  • 2 tsp coarse black pepper
  • 2 12 tsp mustard seed

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients together
  2. Refrigerate 24 hours
  3. Mix well again
  4. Refrigerate another 24 hours
  5. Shape into small rolls about 1 to 1 12-inches
  6. Place on cookie sheet
  7. Bake at 150 for 8 hours
  8. Turn after 4 hours
  9. Can also use ground turkey
