Holiday Chocolate Butter Cookies

Ingredients
- 12 c sugar
- 34 c softened butter
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tsp almond extract
- 1 12 c flour
- 14 c unsweetened cocoa
Directions
- Heat oven to 375
- In large bowl mix all ingredients except flour and cocoa
- Beat at medium speed scraping bowl until mixture is light and fluffy
- Continue beating
- Gradually add flour and cocoa until well mixed
- Take small amounts of dough Roll into two 3-inch logs
- Place 1 inch apart on cookie sheets Bake at 375 for 7 to 9 minutes
- Cool completely
- Dip both ends of each cookie in melted chocolate chips then into finely chopped nuts
