Holiday Chocolate Butter Cookies

Ingredients

• 12 c sugar
• 34 c softened butter
• 1 egg yolk
• 1 tsp almond extract
• 1 12 c flour
• 14 c unsweetened cocoa

Directions

1. Heat oven to 375
2. In large bowl mix all ingredients except flour and cocoa
3. Beat at medium speed scraping bowl until mixture is light and fluffy
4. Continue beating
5. Gradually add flour and cocoa until well mixed
6. Take small amounts of dough Roll into two 3-inch logs
7. Place 1 inch apart on cookie sheets Bake at 375 for 7 to 9 minutes
8. Cool completely
9. Dip both ends of each cookie in melted chocolate chips then into finely chopped nuts
