Holiday Sweet Potatoes
Ingredients
- 6 large yams
- 1 c frozen orange juice
- 12 c white sugar
- 12 c brown sugar
- 1 tsp orange rind grated
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 1 rounded Tbsp cornstarch
Directions
- Steam yams until almost done cool and peel
- Cut lengthwise and place in flat pan
- Put remaining ingredients in saucepan cook for 10 minutes stirring constantly
- Pour sauce over yams Bake at 325 for 40 minutes
