Homemade Chicken SoupThe Kind That Cures The Flu
Ingredients
- 5 lb chicken
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 lb carrots
- 2 lb celery
- 2 bunches fresh parsley
- 4 onions
Directions
- Cook chicken in large stockpot cool debone and cut up into small pieces
- Return to pot in which broth from chicken was cooked
- If more broth is needed you may use clear canned broth Add clean cut up carrots and celery
- Add onions which have been chopped and chopped fresh parsley tops and stems
- Cook in broth until tender
- You will need to salt and pepper to taste
- May serve over cooked rice or noodles
