Homemade Egg Noodles

Ingredients

  • 1 c flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp water

Directions

  1. Mix ingredients until well blended
  2. Mixture will be extremely firm dough
  3. Turn onto large floured surface
  4. Sprinkle with flour and roll until extremely thin
  5. Move dough around as rolling to make sure underside of dough is floured well to keep from sticking Cover thin dough with thin layer of flour
  6. Roll dough beginning at one edge
  7. Slice dough into 12 or 14-inch strips
  8. Unroll and coat each noodle evenly with flour
  9. Dry on surface for 1 hour or dry completely and store until needed
