Homemade Ice Cream1 Hour And 30 Minutes
Ingredients
- 4 c milk
- 4 c 2 pt whipping cream
- 1 12 c sugar
- 5 eggs
- 1 12 tsp vanilla
- 18 tsp salt
Directions
- In 3-quart saucepan combine milk and whipping cream
- Cook over low heat until warm 6 to 8 minutes
- In large mixer bowl combine all remaining ingredients
- Beat at medium speed scraping bowl often until smooth 2 to 3 minutes
- Gradually stir into milk mixture
- Cool to room temperature
- Pour into ice cream canister
- Freeze in ice cream maker according to manufacturers directions
- Yield
- 3 quarts
