Homemade Soap
Ingredients
- 8 lb grease or cracklings
- 4 cans lye
- 3 to 4 gal water
Directions
- Combine all ingredients and cook in a large black kettle until lye eats up grease and cracklings
- Let set in pot overnight or until cold and set
- Next day cut into pieces
