Hominy Ole
Ingredients
- 1 16 oz can hominy
- 2 Tbsp butter or margarine
- 2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
- 14 tsp salt
- liquid from drained hominy and milk to measure 1 c
- 1 c shredded Cheddar cheese
- 3 Tbsp diced green chili
Directions
- Melt butter in saucepan over low heat
- Blend in flour and salt
- Drain liquid from hominy and add enough milk to make a cup
- Add to previous ingredients
- Cook until thick then blend in shredded cheese and chili
- Pour over hominy in casserole bowl and heat in microwave 6 minutes
