Honey Baked Lentils

Ingredients
- 1 lb 2 13 c lentils
- 1 small bay leaf
- 5 c water
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp dry mustard
- 14 tsp powdered ginger
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- 12 c chopped onions
- 1 c water
- 4 slices bacon
- 13 c honey
Directions
- Combine in a Dutch oven or saucepan the lentils bay leaf water and salt
- Bring to a boil
- Cover tightly reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes
- Do not drain
- Discard bay leaf
