Honey Chili

Ingredients
- 1 12 lb lean ground beef
- 1 c diced celery
- 12 c chopped onion
- 14 c diced green pepper
- 1 c tomato puree
- 1 c whole peeled tomatoes 16 oz
- 2 15 oz cans chili beans
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 to 4 Tbsp chili powder to taste
- 2 Tbsp wine vinegar
- 14 c mild flavored honey
Directions
- In large deep pan cook meat until it loses its red color Drain off excess fat
- Add next eight ingredients
- Mix well Bring to boil
- Cover and simmer 1 hour stirring occasionally Stir in vinegar and honey
- Serves 6 to 8
