Hong Kong Pepper Steak

Ingredients

  • 1 lb round steak cut into thin strips
  • 2 Tbsp oleo
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 12 can water
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 c chopped celery 1-inch pieces
  • 1 c chopped bell pepper 1-inch squares
  • 12 c green onion chopped
  • 1 4 oz can mushroom slices and juice
  • 14 tsp black pepper

Directions

  1. Brown steak in oleo in large skillet
  2. Add remaining ingredients
  3. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until steak is tender
  4. Stir occasionally
  5. Serve over rice or chow mein
  6. Serves 4 generously
