Hong Kong Pepper Steak
Ingredients
- 1 lb round steak cut into thin strips
- 2 Tbsp oleo
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 12 can water
- 1 tsp garlic salt
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 c chopped celery 1-inch pieces
- 1 c chopped bell pepper 1-inch squares
- 12 c green onion chopped
- 1 4 oz can mushroom slices and juice
- 14 tsp black pepper
Directions
- Brown steak in oleo in large skillet
- Add remaining ingredients
- Cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until steak is tender
- Stir occasionally
- Serve over rice or chow mein
- Serves 4 generously
