Hot Buttered AsparagusVegetable
Ingredients
- 1 lb asparagus
- 1 Tbsp corn oil margarine
- 14 c fresh bread crumbs
- 18 tsp salt
- 3 to 4 shakes hot pepper sauce
Directions
- Wash asparagus and trim tough parts of stems set aside Prepare bread crumbs put in blender or food processor to make fine crumbs
- Steam asparagus in small amount of water until tender
- Melt margarine in pan add hot pepper sauce
- Add crumbs and salt saute until golden
- Place well-drained asparagus in serving dish top with hot bread crumbs
- Serves 4
