Hot Caramel Sauce

Ingredients

  • 12 c granulated sugar caramelized
  • 12 c granulated sugar
  • 34 c cream
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions

  1. To caramelize sugar place a heavy skillet over low heat Stir constantly until melted and brown
  2. Place granulated sugar and cream in a double boiler and heat to boiling point
  3. Add caramelized sugar and stir until well blended
  4. Remove from heat add butter and vanilla
  5. Beat thoroughly
  6. May be reheated over hot water
  7. Store in jar in refrigerator
