Hot Cherry Pudding
Ingredients
- 1 c Bisquick
- 1 14 c sugar
- 13 c milk
- 1 can cherries drain cherries from can
- 1 14 c cherry juice and water mixed
- 2 Tbsp butter or margarine
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375
- To Bisquick add sugar and the drained cherries
- Stir in milk to make a stiff dough
- Spread in greased 10 x 6 x 2-inch pan or 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan
- Heat the juice from the cherries with water added to make 1 14 cups and the remaining cup of sugar
- Also add 12 teaspoon almond extract and a few drops of red food coloring
- Add butter and bring to a boil
- Pour over the dough and bake for 30 minutes
- Serve hot with vanilla ice cream
