Hot Cherry Pudding

Hot Cherry Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1 c Bisquick
  • 1 14 c sugar
  • 13 c milk
  • 1 can cherries drain cherries from can
  • 1 14 c cherry juice and water mixed
  • 2 Tbsp butter or margarine

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375
  2. To Bisquick add sugar and the drained cherries
  3. Stir in milk to make a stiff dough
  4. Spread in greased 10 x 6 x 2-inch pan or 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan
  5. Heat the juice from the cherries with water added to make 1 14 cups and the remaining cup of sugar
  6. Also add 12 teaspoon almond extract and a few drops of red food coloring
  7. Add butter and bring to a boil
  8. Pour over the dough and bake for 30 minutes
  9. Serve hot with vanilla ice cream
