Hot Fudge Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 c all-purpose flour
  • 34 c white sugar
  • 6 Tbsp baking cocoa divided
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 14 tsp salt
  • 12 c milk
  • 2 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 c brown sugar
  • 1 34 c hot water
  • whipped cream or ice cream optional

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl combine flour white sugar 2 tablespoons cocoa baking powder and salt
  2. Stir in the milk oil and vanilla until smooth
  3. Spread in an ungreased 9 x 9 square baking pan Combine brown sugar and remaining cocoa
  4. Sprinkle over batter Pour hot water over all
  5. DO NOT STIR
  6. Bake at 350 for 35 to 40 minutes
  7. Serve warm
  8. Top with whipped cream or ice cream if desired
