Hot Mushroom Dip

Hot Mushroom Dip

Ingredients

  • 4 slices bacon
  • 12 lb fresh mushrooms sliced
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 2 Tbsp flour
  • 14 tsp salt
  • 18 tsp lemon pepper
  • 1 8 oz pkg cream cheese cut into small cubes
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • 12 c sour cream
  • crackers

Directions

  1. Fry bacon until crisp drain saving 2 tablespoons of drippings in pan
  2. Crumble bacon and set aside
  3. Add mushrooms onion and garlic to drippings
  4. Cook over medium heat until tender and most of the mushroom liquid has evaporated about 6 to 8 minutes
  5. Mix in flour salt and pepper
  6. Add cream cheese Worcestershire sauce and soy sauce
  7. Reduce heat to low and stir until cheese melts
  8. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream and bacon
  9. Serve with crackers
