Hot Mushroom Dip
Ingredients
- 4 slices bacon
- 12 lb fresh mushrooms sliced
- 1 onion chopped
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 2 Tbsp flour
- 14 tsp salt
- 18 tsp lemon pepper
- 1 8 oz pkg cream cheese cut into small cubes
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 12 c sour cream
- crackers
Directions
- Fry bacon until crisp drain saving 2 tablespoons of drippings in pan
- Crumble bacon and set aside
- Add mushrooms onion and garlic to drippings
- Cook over medium heat until tender and most of the mushroom liquid has evaporated about 6 to 8 minutes
- Mix in flour salt and pepper
- Add cream cheese Worcestershire sauce and soy sauce
- Reduce heat to low and stir until cheese melts
- Remove from heat and stir in sour cream and bacon
- Serve with crackers
