Hot Reuben Sandwich
Ingredients
- 1 large round loaf crusty bread
- 1 can corned beef
- 1 15 12 oz can sauerkraut
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 3 to 4 slices Swiss cheese
Directions
- Cook sauerkraut and brown sugar with a little water for 30 minutes
- drain
- Cut
- bread in half horizontallySpread bottom half with corned beef can be softened in microwave for 15 seconds
- to make easier spreading
- Place sauerkraut over corned beef
- cover
- withslicesof cheese
- Place on cookie sheet in a 350 oven until cheese melts
- Cover with top half of bread return to oven for 3 to 4 minutesCut in wedges
