Hot Rolls
Ingredients
- 1 heaping Tbsp shortening
- 1 c warm water
- 1 pkg yeast
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- 12 tsp salt
- plain flour
Directions
- Place these ingredients in a small bowl let stand about 15 minutes
- Add enough plain sifted flour to make a stiff dough Place in a greased bowl
- Let rise until doubled in bulk
- Work down with hands and make into rolls
- Let rolls rise 15 to 20 minutes
- Brush lightly with margarine
- Bake in a hot oven 450 until brown 12 to 15 minutes
