Hot Spinach Dip
Ingredients
- 2 10 oz boxes frozen chopped spinach thawed cooked and drained reserving juice
- 1 stick butter
- 4 Tbsp chopped onion
- 4 Tbsp flour
- 1 small can evaporated milk undiluted
- 12 c spinach juice
- 6 oz jalapeno Jack cheese grated
- 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- salt to taste
Directions
- Melt butter in large skillet
- Saute onion until soft
- Add flour milk and spinach juice
- Continue to cook until thick
- Add cheese and spinach
- Add Worcestershire sauce and salt
- Serve hot in chafing dish with toast points or corn chips
