Hot Sponge Cake

Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1 c sugar
- 1 c self-rising flour
- 3 Tbsp butter
- 12 c milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
Directions
- Beat eggs beat in sugar
- Beat in flour
- Melt butter in milk and pour over dry ingredients
- Add vanilla
- Bake in 10-inch square pan at 350 for 25 minutes
- May frost or serve plain with fruit such as strawberries
