Hotel Sunlight Icebox Rolls
Ingredients
- 2 cakes Fleischmanns yeast
- 14 c butter
- 2 c hot water
- 12 c sugar
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 eggs beaten
- 8 c flour or more
Directions
- Pour hot water over butter and let cool
- Add sugar and salt then half of the flour Add beaten eggs then the remaining flour and yeast which has been dissolved in 1 cup cold water
- Beat thoroughly and let stand 3 to 4 hours in refrigerator or overnight
- Before needed take out of the refrigerator and put in pans let rise until double in size
- Bake in moderate oven about 20 minutes
